This foundation programme has two intakes, one in September and one in January. If you’d like to apply for a 3-year bachelor programme but don’t meet the academic entry requirements, you might be interested in joining The Hague Pathway College. After the successful completion of this programme, you’ll be ready to start your degree at THUAS and you will already have a good taste of studying and living in the Hague. You want to start the UXD-programme, but you don’t have a Dutch diploma. This profile can be: Cultuur & Maatschappij, Economie & Maatschappij, Natuur & Gezondheid of Natuur & Techniek. To start this programme you should have a vwo diploma with an appropriate profile. After three years of study you reach the same goals. This challenging three-year programme is at a higher level than regular programmes. Most of our bachelor programmes are four-year courses. MBO (senior secondary vocational education and training) Havo (senior general secondary education) Both directions lead to the same final qualification.
In both programmes you are always looking for the best possible quality of interaction between humans and a system. The user experience designer invents smart concepts. The interaction designer uses this power for creating smart applications that can be used immediately. Both directions appeal to the creative power of the students. The first one is Interaction Design (Dutch), the second User Experience Design (English). The Hague University of Applied Sciences offers two directions in design programmes. How important is it to the user? What fun will its users have? When a user experience designer has to answer that question, they always look at the person who will use the new interactive concept. Apps and wearables are producing an endless stream of big data. Smart tools, sometimes connected to sensors, are part of your every day life. You exercise with a wireless heart rate monitor.
